  • We have 1 departmental meeting a month.

  • We have up to 3 drills per month, normally on a Wednesday night.

  • Firefighters take BEFO (Basic Exterior Firefighting Operations) to best familiarize and assist on the emergency scene.

  • And More advanced couses like SCBA IFO FF1 (Self Contained Breating Apparatus, Interior Fire Operations, FireFighter 1)

  • Drivers are urged to take EVOC (Emergency Vehical Ops) and Pump Operator.

  • Other NY state courses are available and posted in Station1.

  • Gear will be issued.

  • Members may also inquire about our sponsored physical fitness reimbursement program.

  • Physicals are provided for Firefighters.
