Please make sure your house number is easily seen from the road.
Please make sure your driveway accessable, Fire trucks are heavier and larger than most vehicles.
In the event a Carbon Monoxide detector is activated, it is advisable for ALL to leave the building at once. Be certain not to open any windows to clear the CO from the building! This will help us to obtain an accurate readings with our Carbon Monoxide Detector and locate the source of the problem
911 Phone stickers are available at the Fire House.
The Port Ewen Fire Department has a fire prevention program that meets with the kindergardeners and grade school students once a year. We also perform New Years Eve inspections at local restaurants and clubs.
